House for a family of five in Athens (2001 -2002)

This house was designed for a couple with 3 children, with the prerequisite that the children could one day have independent apartments with simple alterations to the house.

The design evolved on three levels. The entrance level is the intermediate one, and houses all common activities - living room, dining room, and kitchen. It also includes the master bedroom and a guest room. The lower level has a playroom, a small kitchen area and two bedrooms for the two older boys. The upper level that is about half the size of the rest, is all one bedroom with an en-suite bathroom for the younger daughter.
