Ancient Agora, Athens (1999-2003)

During the preparation for the Olympic Games, an ambitious plan was set into action, to connect all archaeological digs and monuments creating a pedestrian network in an archaeological park that would stretch across Athens. This project was unfortunately only partially realised. During the design phase all sites were awarded to separate teams of architects. The drawings here are part of the work done by the team in charge of the Ancient Agora and the antique market in Monastiraki under the Acropolis, the part of which Eleni Tsigarida was in charge.
