KITRIES 2006- due for completion 2008

This house was designed for a family as a summer house. The family has been coming to the area for a long time and decided to build their own house through their love for the region. The plot is extremely steep and is an olive grove, cut into large terraces down the hillside. The house is placed on one of the larger terraces and orientated to the south. The design tries to merge an overall traditional feeling with innovations such as individually designed windows and doors, double height spaces and other features.
