House in Riglia - Mani, Greece (2003)

This site previously housed an olive mill and some of the old machinery and mill stones still remain. Due to the location of the site within the village various restrictions of sizes/areas were applied to the design of the house.

The final design has two bedrooms at the lower entrance level accessed from a walled courtyard. A timber stair leads up to the main living space of the house which contains the kitchen, dining and living room with a large terrace facing the sea views.

The house is approximately 100m2 and was completed summer 2006.
