Prosilio - Mani, Greece (2008)

This stone built house was designed for a large family as a summer house. It is south facing, using the slope of the land to its advantage and with stunning views down to the village of Kardamyli . The house is designed around a central courtyard dividing the house into two main parts, the living areas and the master bedroom on one wing and the children's bedrooms, guest rooms and playroom on the other wing. A separate small building also helps to cater for extra guests. The design tries to merge an overall traditional feeling with innovations such as individually designed windows and doors with external stone slants to create a more sculptural form and to allow for better views internally.

The house is currently at the building permit stage.
