House in Prosilio - Mani, Greece

This project is in the middle of an olive grove on a relatively steep hillside overlooking Kardamyli and the sea beyond.

The design is based around a central courtyard with a cloistered walkway joining the two wings of the house. The main wing includes the master bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, dining and living room and the second wing contains two guest bedrooms with a shared bathroom. The courtyard is entered from a higher level via a small series of stone steps and is orientated south towards the view.

Many antique items (including 2 wooden doors and a stone fireplace) have been integrated into the final design. Due for completion summer 2005.
