a  i  ó  l  o  u   a  r  c  h  i  t  e  c  t  s                        athens home   Aghia Paraskevi Competition (December 2003) Awarded 4th Prize This Pan- Hellenic Architectural Competition gathered the attention of most of the architectural world in Greece with a record amount of entries and extensive coverage. The objective of the competition was a new town hall and municipality centre for the upcoming area of Aghia Paraskevi, North East of Athens. The building is divided into two wings and is an organic, environment friendly and energy saving building with a heavy concrete solar chimney as the backbone to each wing and a light metal structure that hangs from this as the working spaces.
